VINTAGE 2019 - RECENTLY RELEASED FROM OUR CELLAR (November 2024) after having sold out all of 2018

This Cabernet Franc reveals powerful aromas of red berries (raspberry and blackberry) and violets evolving towards pepper and liquorice. The tannins, quite powerful for a Loire wine, are lightened by a small addition of Sauvignon Blanc making it easy to drink. These 45-year-old vines planted on schist add a touch of minerality/saltiness. After a few years, this 2019 vintage has a rare elegance.

🍽️ Pairing Suggestions: for aperitif like charcuterie, terrine, pâté. For a cheese board, any sheep's milk cheese goes wonderfully with the red fruit of this wine. Nice fit with a raclette. It also goes very well with white meats.
