Tomcsányi - Szívhangok 2021 (Hungary)
€25.00
Good acidity and fruity, notes of lemon, appel, almond (amaretto). Mineral and juicy (silky) wine, herbal, a bit spicy and salty because of the volcanic soil.
Szívhangok ("Sounds of heart") is named in honour of the winemaker's father who was a cardiologist. For 2021 (the grapes and method may change each year), the blend was fermented in 1000-litre oak barrels. To add even more liveliness to this vintage, Árpád Tomcsányi left around 4 g/l of residual sugar at bottling which has resulted in a light fizziness.
